‘POC’

If you’re POC you’re honestly, absolutely the best part of me.

We have a similar experience in this country, beset with issues before we were conceived,

I feel like branches, but no roots planted in the trees.

We’re both inclined to see things, that seem to have no remedy it’s hard to think and to be

Yet we’re expecting to be understanding.

If you’re POC you dream in a marble sky, you’re not low but meant for high.

You’re pleasant to the eye,

Remember you’re meant to love, and be loved you’re not meant to die
